Hello, I’m Elaine, owner of Hattie Rose Floral Design, and I’m delighted to be featured on The Yorkshire Brides.

Working from my garden studio in a picturesque North Yorkshire village, not far from York, I create natural, romantic florals for weddings and events. I have always been inspired by nature, especially flowers, plants and trees, and that love sits at the heart of everything I design.

Hattie Rose Floral Design is named after my granddaughter, and sustainability is central to my approach. I aim to use British flowers wherever possible, while also being flexible when couples request specific out-of-season blooms.

I also specialise in British dried and everlasting flowers, which allow couples to enjoy the colour, texture and memories of their wedding florals long after the day itself. From bouquets and buttonholes to larger floral installations, every design is created to suit the couple, the setting and the season.

My creative style is natural, seasonal and full of movement, always considering how flowers grow in their surroundings and how they make space for the birds and bees.

I pride myself on offering a personal and relaxed service, because no two weddings are ever the same. Some couples arrive with a clear vision, while others are happy to be guided creatively. An initial no-obligation chat, often over coffee and cake, gives us the chance to talk through colours, style, budget and any questions you may have.
