After discovering that weddings were the perfect setting for her nostalgic and whimsical artwork, Leela fell in love with the joy and energy of the industry. Since then, she’s been fully immersed in the world of live wedding illustration - a growing niche that offers something truly unique and sentimental for couples and their guests. Leela’s illustrations serve not only as beautiful keepsakes for the couples but also as engaging entertainment for the guests. As she works, guests can gather around and see themselves come to life in watercolour.

With an MA in Future Design and a background in illustrating children's colouring books for one of the most famous brands in the worls - Crayola, Leela brings a thoughtful and imaginative touch to every event. Her illustrations are more than just drawings - they’re tangible memories. Leela illustrates in a considerate, inclusive manner whilst celebrating each guest's unique identity - capturing the joy and energy of your guests on your happy day.

Leela illustrated her first wedding in May 2024, and the experience left her even more passionate about helping couples preserve the magic of their big day. Her favourite moment? That first glimpse of the couple after the ceremony - when the happiness is contagious and the room radiates with love.
